SILENT  VALLEY – KOLAKHAM

A Silent Hill Station (about 6000ft height) situated 11 km from Lava (7200 ft altitude) below the Neora Valley National Park Dist Darjeeling. Kolakham is ideally located with Valley View of Neora Valley, Rishop and Renok-Aritar of Sikkim. Interested people can trek to Sikkim/many places routed through Kolakham.
Changay Falls is closely located to Kolakham. A Panoramic View Falls from 400 ft height. The scenic view of Kanchenjunga Range & Nathula  is seen both from Kolakham & Changey Falls.

ROUTE  DIRECTION 
From  Sealdah 3149 up Kanchan  Kanya Express. Drop at New Mal  Junction at Morning. Reserve any car to Lava, only 52 km from Malbazar. From Lava to Kolakham 11 K.M. A separate Car  is to be taken from Lava Travel  Syndicate only.

Kolakham is a veg. Village and Alcohol restricted for the local villagers.For Tourists, Non-Veg. Items can be prepared with prior arrangements, but veg. preparation is also very delicious and mind blowing.
